Saint Dominic .-Meeting. President Luis Abinader held a virtual meeting last night with the National Council of the Judiciary (CNM), in which a tentative schedule was approved to discuss the regulations related to the application of Law 1-25 that modifies Law No. 138-11, and establishes a new process for the selection of the Attorney General of the Republic and his deputies.
The information was given by the legal consultant of the Executive Branch, Antoliano Peralta, who explained that “the idea was to approve the work schedule, which is always tentative, and at the same time authorize the president of the Council (the President), to implement public consultation of the regulations for 20 days, as established by law.”
Peralta said that the President called a new meeting for this Wednesday at 8 in the morning.
