In the La Colonia Nariñense neighborhood, east of Cali, alias ‘Sin Tabique’, a man wanted for the crime of homicide, was captured in the capital of Valle del Cauca.

Jhon Brandon López Balanta, the official name of the detainee, was on the ‘most wanted’ poster for 2022 and was listed as one of the most dangerous criminals in the city.
“This capture occurred thanks to the collaboration of citizens with coordinated work with the National Police, this person alias ‘Sin Tabique’ who It is indicated for the crimes of homicide, theft, illegal possession of weapons and prisoner escape. This person had escaped in 2020 and we captured him again,” said Colonel Carlos Andrés Arias, operational commander of the Santiago de Cali Metropolitan Police.
Alias ’Sin Tabique’ was made available to the competent authority to answer for the crimes committed.
The most wanted
The most recent ‘most wanted’ poster published by the Metropolitan Police It contains 28 designated criminals who have committed acts against life, economic assets and tranquility.
The poster includes aliases ‘Deivi’, ‘Tatauro’ and ‘Gordo’, who have already been captured or recaptured, as the case may be.
According to General Carlos Oviedo, commander of the Metropolitan Police, in a statement from March 2024, alias ‘Deivi’ would be responsible for thefts from platform drivers in the Potrero Grande neighborhood, east of Cali.
Alias ’Tatauro’ was already captured and was wanted for homicide. His capture took place in Antioquia where he was hiding after committing the crime.
Finally, alias ‘Gordo’ was captured for a homicide that occurred in commune 16 of Cali. However, the man had already been in jail for homicide and robbery.

According to the officer, investigations and operations are continuing to capture the people who appear on the ‘most wanted’ poster, 13 of them wanted for homicide, seven for micro-trafficking and five for theft.
