The Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Saturday with Hameye Foune Mahalmadane, Fourth Vice President of the National Transition Council of the Republic of Mali, and Ibrahima Diallo, ambassador of Mali in Brasilia, special envoys of the President of that African country for the swearing-in ceremony of the Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro.
Through a message published on his Telegram channel, the head of the foreign relations portfolio expressed his satisfaction with this type of actions that seek to strengthen ties of cooperation and solidarity between peoples.
“It fills us with satisfaction to strengthen bilateral ties between our peoples and establish the foundations for a future characterized by multipolarism and solidarity,” he wrote.
It is important to highlight that the Venezuelan ambassador to Mali, Elio Colmenares, held a meeting this week with the President of the National Transition Council (CNT) of the African nation, General Malick Diaw, in which he conveyed the fraternal greetings of President Nicolás Maduro to the President of the Transition, Army General Assimi Goita, and to all the members of his Government, and to the Malian people.
Likewise, as reported by the Foreign Ministry, on September 24, 2024, in the context of the 79th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), in New York, Minister Gil met with his counterpart of the Republic of Mali, Abdoulaye Diop, and analyzed the bilateral agenda, while sharing common objectives and challenges.
