Men and women from the 22 parishes of Caracas made the presidential sash placed on the head of State, Nicolás Maduro, during his presidential swearing-in ceremony for the period 2025-2031 this January 10.
During the solemn ceremony held in the elliptical hall of the Federal Legislative Palace, the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, highlighted that it was a collective effort that was consolidated within the Popular Power. In the activity, audiovisual material was presented that highlights the experience of each of those who participated in the weaving of this patriotic symbol of loyalty and honor to the people. “A story of togetherness and pride is carefully woven between the hands of its people.”
It reflects the future and hope of Venezuela
During the solemn ceremony held in the elliptical hall of the Federal Legislative Palace, deputy Jorge Rodríguez, reported that the presidential sash was made with “the love and passion of the people of Caracas who participated in the making of this symbol that reflects the future. and the hope of Venezuela.”
The people expressed in that sense, “taking an oath with the president is very important for us,” as well as; “the people give you your band” and “I swear with Maduro, for the future and for the peace of Venezuela.”
