The Colombian Institute of Educational Credit and Technical Studies Abroad (Icetex) reported that The registration stage of the call for educational credits for the first semester of 2025 has completed.

This initiative allowed students interested in pursuing undergraduate and graduate studies, both inside and outside the country, could access the financial support offered by the entity.
According to what they reported, Colombians interested in obtaining this type of reimbursable support for the second half of 2025 They must be attentive to the opening of the new call.

“These opportunities will be disseminated in a timely manner through communication channels, social networks and the official Icetex website.“, highlighted the entity, inviting those interested to periodically consult its web portal to find out the dates and requirements.
In parallel, a call was made to citizens from all regions of the country to explore the international scholarship alternatives available. These calls, focused on undergraduate studies, master’s degrees, doctorates and short courses, offer opportunities in countries such as Spain, Hungary, Russia, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore. Those interested can consult the current scholarships and make their application through the entity’s website.

The statement also highlighted the open calls for forgivable financing funds aimed at different populations in the national territory. Among these, Icetex highlighted the fund for outstanding high school graduates of the municipality of Palmira, whose registrations will be open until January 10, 2025.

Another opportunity mentioned corresponds to the 90% forgivable fund for undergraduate studies, intended for people who have served in the Public Force or their families. Registration for this call is open until January 20, 2025.
“Higher education is a key tool for personal and professional development, and ICETEX remains committed to facilitating access to these opportunities through credit programs, scholarships and special funds.“, noted the entity in its communication.

Finally, Icetex reiterated its commitment to promoting education as a right and an engine of progress, and encouraged all interested parties to stay informed about available options. To do this, it recommended the use of its official platforms and contact channels as the main source of information.
