Among the appointments, it was confirmed that Florencia Ualde will take over as general director of the Secretariat. Ualde is a lawyer and has a master’s degree in Public Relations, with experience in the public sector in advisory and strategic planning tasks.
For his part, the position of national director of Tourism will be occupied by Cristian Pos, a native of Cologne. Pos has a degree in International Relations and has two master’s degrees in Tourism. In addition, he works as a teacher and academic coordinator of the diploma in Digital Tools for Tourism at the Technological University (UTEC).
Menoni, close to Vice President-elect Carolina Cosse’s entourage, highlighted that the team was formed equally and with a “broad vision of the territory.” The future minister noted: “From March 1 we will work with responsibility, transparency and dedication to meet the challenges facing tourism and the programmatic bases of the Frente Amplio.”
