When meeting with around 150 Mexican consuls and ambassadors, President Claudia Sheinbaum expressed her conviction, on the eve of Donald Trump’s inauguration as head of the White House, that there will be understanding between both countries. However, according to those attending the private meeting at the National Palace, the president maintained that our country is prepared for any scenario.
Through his social networks, Sheinbaum sent a message about the meeting with the Mexican foreign service personnel: We led the meeting of heads of embassies and consulates 2025 in the National Palace, in the company of Chancellor Juan Ramón de la Fuente; Our migrant brothers and sisters have our full support.
