Edmundo González Urrutia concluded his meetings in Panama and headed, early this Thursday, January 9, to the Dominican Republic; last point of his tour of the American region before the inauguration on January 10; in which he intends to enter Venezuela to assume power.
He is expected to be received during the day by Dominican President, Luis Abinader, and members of his Government at the National Palace in Santo Domingo.

González Urrutia arrived accompanied by a detachment of at least seven former leaders of the region, including Jorge Quiroga (Bolivia), Laura Chinchilla (Costa Rica), Andrés Pastrana (Colombia), Jamil Mahuad (Ecuador), Felipe Calderón and Vicente Fox (Mexico). ), and Mario Abdo Benítez (Paraguay).
