The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, accepted this Tuesday the resignation of the current Minister of Culture, Milagros Germánwhich will be effective from January 15.
The president recognized Germán’s achievements during his time in office and stated that with his work “he has unlocked initiatives that had been stagnant for years,” allowing the cultural development of the country.
Among the notable results, Abinader mentioned the modernization of the cultural awards cycle, the reactivation of the relationship with Berklee College of Music and the consolidation of the Marca País Book Fair.
