Merchant murdered in front of his business in Petare

They locate the body of a dismembered woman

Pedro Caldera was murdered with a firearm fired from a motorcycle where two individuals were traveling near El Carpintero, Petare, Sucre municipality (Miranda).

Preliminary reports indicate that on Tuesday morning the thugs stopped on the motorcycle in front of Multiservicios Delgado Caldera, a business run by the victim. One of the subjects shot Caldera several times and they fled.

Neighbors helped Caldera and took him to the Domingo Luciani hospital where he died. They presume that it was a contract murder.

In another incident, the Cicpc reported on the capture of José Luis Villalba (57), Juan Carlos Pirela Rincón (63) and Luis Alfonso Medina Boscán (60), accused of the murder of Jairo Antonio Caldera Mavarez (49), whose body was found in his home, located in the La Plaza sector, Santa Rita parish and municipality, Zulia state.

Investigations by the Cabimas Cicpc showed that on the day of the incident, Villalba, Pirela, Medina and Caldera were drinking alcoholic beverages in the latter’s home. An argument arose between them, in the middle of which Jairo’s drinking companions beat him and one of them stuck a knife in his chest, causing his death.

At the time of the arrests, Cicpc agents seized the knife used in Jairo’s homicide, the police report says.
