A kidnapper killed, another detained and the rescue of a victim, is the preliminary result of a procedure carried out in Barinas by agents of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), according to reports.
The operation took place in the 7 de Julio neighborhood of the capital of Barinas, where PNB officials assigned to the Directorate of Strategic Tactical Actions (Daet) went, who received a complaint about the alleged kidnapping that occurred on Tuesday afternoon.
Once at the site, the officials had a confrontation with the group that was effectively holding a person hostage. One of the criminals was injured and taken to the Luis Razetti hospital where he died. He was identified as Joalber Daniel Sánchez Terán, 35 years old, nicknamed El Dani.
In the middle of the scuffle, the victim identified as Osman Johan Freitez Arriechi was rescued. Another of the kidnappers was detained and is known by the nickname El Yefri. He is 15 years old. A Smith and Wesson 3.80 caliber pistol was seized from him.
The procedure was notified to prosecutor 18 of the Public Ministry Roselin Mejías.
