A commission of the National Assembly went to the Supreme Court of Justice this Wednesday to formally notify about the start of the ordinary sessions corresponding to the 2025-2026 legislative period.
The president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Caryslia Rodríguez, received the commission made up of deputies María Gabriela Vega, Jocsen Alvarado, Oriana Osio, Williams Benavides, Oscar Rondero, Jhonathan Patti and Alfonso Campos.
“The Supreme Court of Justice and the entire Judicial Branch have been carrying out joint activities with our National Assembly because they are deputies who are on the street, they have not limited themselves to staying in a room, within four walls, but they have deployed incessantly so that together we can build a better homeland, a homeland that fills all Venezuelans with pride,” declared the president of the TSJ, recognizing the work of the parliamentarians.
Rodríguez assured the deputies that they will continue working hand in hand, advancing and making their country. In addition, he confirmed that on January 10, the Judiciary will be present at the swearing-in ceremony of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in the National Assembly.
For her part, Deputy Vega notified the installation for the start of the regular session period and the formation of the board of directors.
In addition, he highlighted the work of the Judiciary to guarantee the rights of the Venezuelan people and so that “the justice system always advances in accordance with what is established in the laws.”
Vega added that this National Assembly has been on the right side of history, legislating for the people, working together with other bodies to guarantee the well-being of Venezuelans.
On Tuesday they were also the other Public Powers notified by designated commissions of the National Assembly.
