The Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Nicolás Maduro, asserted that the people of Venezuela are determined to win and preserve peace in the face of attempts to repeat violent episodes in the country by the extreme right-wing opposition.
“That is fascist and imperialists: do not be mistaken with me, do not be mistaken with the people of Venezuela who are resolved and determined to win, to preserve peace, to preserve national independence, to defend the rights of the people with our own lives if It is necessary to deliver it,” the President of the Republic emphasized this Tuesday when receiving a mobilization of the fighting bodies of workers from the country’s public institutions.
Maduro assured that the revolutionary forces are writing the new history of the 21st century, with the fusion of the civic-military-police union. In addition, he highlighted the energy, courage and patriotism among the workers and those who “will achieve the victory of peace” in Venezuela.
Seven mercenaries captured
He reported that today they have captured seven foreign mercenariesincluding two important American mercenaries who “they caught with the kilos.”
“They are of the highest level, like they have never been captured before in Venezuela. “They are convicted and I am sure that in the next few hours they will confess,” he said.
Maduro explained that the subjects came to carry out terrorist actions against the peace of Venezuela. The rest of those captured this Tuesday are two Colombian hitmen and three mercenaries who participated in the war in Ukraine.
He mentioned that operations continue in the country to find the whereabouts of all those involved. “We go for everyone, because Venezuela respects itself. We have to secure the homeland,” he stressed.
