After this, the public prosecutor of the Nation, Zoraida Avalosinitiated a preliminary investigation against the former secretary general for illicit enrichment, since it would show “an alleged imbalance in assets.”
“It has been established that the income of Pacheco Castillo during the exercise of their public function, from July 30 to November 23, 2021, they must have amounted to S/ 75,176. But the income in his bank account adds up to S / 95,193, without considering the US $ 20,000 found inside a closetlocated in the hygienic services of his office, ”said in a statement from the Prosecutor’s Office.
In addition, they have detected a cash deposit of S / 20,000 dated August 20, 2021, made by Eric Franco Huaymana Carbajal, who on August 13 was hired as “backup driver support” of the Presidential Office.
