Santo Domingo – President of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD), Miguel Vargas Maldonadoin an act of swearing in, affirmed that the PRD is the expeditious platform for social and religious leaders to contribute and serve the country politically and that in 2024 they will come to power.
“We open the doors of the party so that new talents and leaders have in the PRD the platform to make electoral careers, with the certainty that in 2024 we will go to power alone or with alliances,” Vargas told them.
During a concentration held this Tuesday in a hotel in the capital, Vargas Maldonado said he was fully satisfied with the result of the work being done for the growth and strengthening of the organization he directs.
“I reiterate that we must create our own space; we must go our own way in order to have the strength, the individuality as a party, to present our own candidacies at all levels, and we have to take advantage of this scenario to grow, to strengthen ourselves, ”he said.
“Every day, new faces and new ideas arrive at the PRD, like a breath of fresh air that Dominican democracy and the situation in the country are sorely lacking. But, the most important thing is that you participate in the design of the society in which you live and aspire to live”, he continued.
Vargas added that this organization is committed to building awareness in these new leaders, offering relevant spaces for them to collaborate in building solutions to national problems.
“Participating in politics and in legitimate aspirations in the next electoral tournament is a patriotic decision,” he said.
