Tonight, the Executive named Luis Manuel Urmeneta Delgado as the new Secretary of Strategic Communication and Press of the Presidential Office. The designation was made official through a resolution published in the extraordinary edition of the Official newspaper El Peruano.
Urdaneta will replace Jean Emanuel Pajuelo Barba, who was in office from May until December 31, 2024. The rule that reported his separation from the position was also published this Monday, January 6 in El Peruano.
“To terminate the position of Mr. JEAN EMANUEL PAJUELO BARBA as Executive of the Press Directorate of the Secretariat of Strategic Communication and Press of the Presidential Office, in addition to his functions, effective in advance of December 31, 2024, giving him “Thank you for the services provided,” says General Secretariat Resolution No. 000001-2025-DP/SGDP.
Both regulations were signed by Enrique Vilchez, Secretary General of the Presidential Office.
