The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, offered his usual press conference this Monday in which he pointed out that the party must adapt to the communes.
“We have the challenge that the communal circuits impose on us, and we as a political organization must go to the political teams of our communes. “Adapt.”
Also, he indicated that the Psuv is preparing for the elections that will be held this year 2025, for councilors, mayors, legislative and regional councils, governors, the National Assembly and popular consultations.
Cabello, who called on the opposition sectors to agree to participate in the elections, indicated that “Venezuela continues the path of its participatory and leading democracy, contemplated in the Constitution of the Republic,” he said.
He referred to the party’s agenda of activities this January. In this sense, he pointed out that this Tuesday, January 7, the swearing-in and activation of the Militia and the combatant corps will take place throughout the country.
At night, he said that camps of the militia, youth, social movements and parties allied to the Great Patriotic Pole are scheduled to be set up in Caracas.
Then, on January 8, the Great Motorized Caravan against Fascism will take place in the city, “from east to west, from north to south,” with the aim of preserving the peace and tranquility of the town. This is due to threats from extremist sectors of the opposition to generate chaos in the country. “Little candle that lights up, little candle that goes out in time,” Cabello said.
On the 9th he indicated “we are going to make a small march from Petare to the Plaza Brión in Chacaito, and the Great International Antifascist Congress begins with delegates from more than 100 countries,” who will also accompany us at the party on January 10, when “It is the swearing-in ceremony of President Nicolás Maduro in the National Assembly.”
“We are going to give a surprise in the street, beautiful, joyful, happy. We are going to move so many people to celebrate the taking of Caracas with joy, that they cannot even imagine lords of bitterness, of the bourgeoisie, of the oligarchy. The streets do not belong to imperialism,” Cabello said.

The activities will continue, on January 14, with a great Caravan for the Divina Pastora in Caracas. Likewise, on January 15, National Teacher’s Day, a mobilization will be held in the capital city.
On January 16, to commemorate the 39th anniversary of the beatification of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández, various activities will be held in his honor. At the same time, on the 17th the youth will carry out events to reaffirm the combative spirit of Robert Serra, in tribute to his birth.
