“With this vaccination we complete the family bubble with which we guarantee that children, youth and adults are already protected and covered by this disease that has caused us so much pain and death,” he said.

He stressed that important steps are also being taken for the total economic reactivation in the country, that Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties are enjoyed indoors.

For its part, the health minister, Fernando Ruiz, highlighted the effectiveness of the Sinovac vaccine in minors.

Minister Ruiz said that in addition the safe return to classrooms and the economic reactivation of the country will be guaranteed.

The official called on local authorities to encourage massive vaccination campaigns in the child population.

“We invite all territorial health entities, mayors and governors to promote massive vaccination campaigns, where we link children,” he said.
