Venezuela joined the Marathon of Love for Cuba

Venezuela joined the Marathon of Love for Cuba of the Continental Network of Solidarity with the island, the national coordinator of the Movement of Friendship and Mutual Solidarity between the two countries, Yhonny García, announced here today.

The Bolivarian Republic joined this initiative with a series of its own activities, after participating the day before in the virtual meeting to launch the day, which will cover all of 2025 and in which more than 100 communicators from various countries and latitudes participated.

García detailed that Venezuela ratified its full support for “this great initiative that comes to consolidate collective actions to condemn the genocidal blockade of Cuba by the US government, as well as demand that the empire immediately remove the Caribbean island from the list of supposed countries that sponsor terrorism.”

He announced that from the homeland of Simón Bolívar they will continue to be firm in the loving campaign to collect One Hundred Bolívars for Cuba and others that they will develop throughout 2025.

Among them he mentioned caravans, musicals, meetings, joint actions in the states and their coordination, as well as with women, youth, revolutionary parties and in general with Venezuelans who “love Cuba and its people.”

García pointed out that Venezuela has always returned so much affection and brotherhood to Cuba and recalled the recent sending by the “revolutionary government of more than 300 tons of support in the face of the effects of natural phenomena and the intensification of coercive sanctions to the homeland of José Martí.” .

In the opinion of the national coordinator of the Movement, unity will be the fundamental key to the success of this marathon of love and he assured that this will be a great challenge.
