Flávio Dino denies releasing suspended parliamentary amendments

Dino says that Congress did not send all documents on the amendment to the STF

Minister Flávio Dino, of the Federal Supreme Court, rejected this Monday (30) the request from the Federal Senate for the release of resources from the committee amendments that were suspended by the magistrate himself.Flávio Dino denies releasing suspended parliamentary amendments

According to the minister’s decision, the way the amendments were presented contradicts Complementary Law no. 210/2024 and National Congress Resolution No. 001/2006. In the text, the minister asks “how to commit a ‘commission amendment’ whose indication of the beneficiary and the amount to be transferred to him were not approved by the Commission?”

Flávio Dino is the rapporteur of the Claim of Non-compliance with Fundamental Precept No. 854, a PSOL action, against the lack of transparency in the allocation of public resources from the federal Budget – released by the National Congress.

Last week, minister Flávio Dino suspended payment of R$ 4.2 billion in parliamentary amendments as it understood that the resources did not meet the transparency and traceability criteria, provided for by law, and also determined the opening of a police investigation to investigate the case.
