Eleven provinces and CABA open their sessions

In Tucumán, Governor Jaldo will inaugurate the ordinary sessions in his first formal presentation before the Legislative Assembly since he assumed the Executive Power after the license requested by Juan Manzur

The governors of eleven provinces and the head of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires will offer their annual messages and management balances this Tuesday, when they inaugurate the ordinary sessions in the legislatures of those districts.

Thus, coinciding with the opening of the legislative year that President Alberto Fernández will carry out this noon in Congress, the parliaments of CABA, Corrientes, Chaco, Formosa, La Pampa, La Rioja, Río Negro, Neuquén, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego and Tucumán, to which Salta will be added, for the first time on this date after a modification of its Magna Carta.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday the provinces of Buenos Aires and Chubut will inaugurate new parliamentary periods.

According to the annual schedule for the opening of sessions and in accordance with what is regulated by their constitutions, each February Córdoba, Entre Ríos and Santiago del Estero begin with activities, while in March the National Legislative Assembly takes place and the bulk of the acts in a dozen districts, in April it will be the turn of Jujuy, San Juan and San Luis; and in May they will complete the cycle Catamarca, Mendoza, Misiones and Santa Fe.

At 8:30 today, the governor of ChacoJorge Capitanich, will inaugurate the 54th legislative session with his balance of management and some projects that he advanced in recent weeks, such as the implementation of the Sustainable Token, a digital currency of ecosystem value that consists of a worldwide pilot test to protect the local biodiversity, and is expected to announce a historic repair project for Malvinas war veterans and a thematic museum, among other issues.

At the same time, the governor of NeuquenOmar Gutiérrez, will inaugurate the 51st ordinary period of ordinary sessions of the Legislature of the province, which will last until February 28, 2023, and is expected to announce various construction projects, forestry and tourism incentives, among other issues.

In the Autonomous City of Buenos Airesthe head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, will appear at 9 in the Legislature to offer his annual speech and outline the guidelines of the parliamentary year.

On Black river the provincial Legislature set the opening of the 51st session of the legislative period for March 1 and, according to parliamentary spokesmen consulted by Télam, “the preparatory school will be at 8:30, while the official opening session will begin at 9.”

On jumpGovernor Gustavo Sáenz will give his message to the Legislature for the first time on March 1, after the modification of the date established in the reform of the provincial Constitution arranged last year.

In this way, the president of Salta will open the 124th ordinary period of sessions with his annual speech on the general state of the province, which he will deliver starting at 9 a.m.

The Legislative Assembly will be headed by the presidents of both chambers, Lieutenant Governor Antonio Marocco, by the Provincial Senate; and Esteban Amat Lacroix, for the Chamber of Deputies.

On TucumanGovernor Osvaldo Jaldo will inaugurate the 117th ordinary session at 9:00 a.m. in his first formal presentation before the Legislative Assembly since he took office in the Executive Branch due to the license requested by Juan Luis Manzur to assume office in September 2021 as head of the national Cabinet .

The Governor of FormosaGildo Insfrán, will open at the same time the 49th period of ordinary sessions of the Legislature made up of thirty provincial deputies.

At 9.30, in currentsthe opening ceremony of the ordinary sessions will be held in the Legislative Palace of the capital, where Governor Gustavo Valdés will offer his management balance in the context of the fires that consumed more than 900 thousand hectares of vegetation.

The Legislative Assembly will be chaired by the deputy governor and president of the Senate, Néstor Braillard Poccard, and sources from the upper house told Télam that it will be in person.

Santa Cruz will move the Chamber of Deputies to the Club Boca Río Gallegos for the inaugural session, due to protocols, distance and care for coronavirus, government sources told Télam.

And, they pointed out that unlike the previous year, when Governor Alicia Kirchner gave her message in a virtual session, this time the opening of the 49th regular session will be at 9:30, totally in person but from the club for reasons of space to keep the essential care for the pandemic.

On Land of FireGovernor Gustavo Melella, will head the formal opening ceremony of the 39 cycle of sessions at the Yaganes Street Legislature at 10 a.m. and his message will be broadcast on the local parliament website www.legistdf.gob.ar and on local television stations .

On The PampaGovernor Sergio Ziliotto will lead the opening ceremony of the 53rd legislative session at 6:00 p.m.

On The Riojathe 136th period of ordinary sessions will be inaugurated at 8:00 pm by Governor Ricardo Quintela, after attending the national legislative assembly at noon in Congress.

Wednesday’s schedule

On Wednesday, meanwhile, the Buenos Aires governor, Axel Kicillof, will open the 150th ordinary session of the bicameral Legislature at 5:30 p.m. with a review of his management and will focus on the economic reconstruction programs planned for the province.

According to provincial sources, starting at 5:00 p.m., the activities for the formation of the Legislative Assembly, made up of deputies and senators, will begin.

In Chubut, Governor Mariano Arcioni will inaugurate the 50th regular session in the Legislature at 11 a.m., with “a face-to-face session, with guests, as was traditionally done before the pandemic was declared, because the idea is to go returning to normality, although with the care of the case,” the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Ricardo Sastre, told Télam.
