They arrest a sexagenarian with two panels of drugs

Military personnel belonging to Detachment 112 of Zone Command No. 11 of the Bolivarian National Guard in Zulia caught a subject who was secretly transporting two panels of marijuana inside a backpack that yielded a total weight of one kilo 180 grams.

The sexagenarian of Venezuelan nationality was identified as José Gregorio Luengo González, a native of the Mara municipality.

According to the military personnel, the commission was patrolling, specifically in the Cerro Cochino sector, belonging to the La Sierrita parish, when they saw Luengo along a trail at night.

There they proceeded to tell him to stop and he did not comply and tried to flee, but thanks to the quick action of the national guards his capture was achieved, according to the report.

The case was left to the Public Ministry and the now detained person was accused of the crime defined in the Organic Law on Drugs and the Law against Organized Crime.
