AREQUIPA, Peru – Intense rains affected various locations in Havana this Friday, causing flooding in some areas of the capital.
Images posted by the official press of the regime account for the impact. In its forecast for the day, the Institute of Meteorology (INSMET) warned about this heavy rainfall in the city.

In this regard, the institute also predicted that in the afternoon the maximum temperatures will be between 25 and 28 degrees Celsius, lower where clouds and rain persist, higher in the interior of the eastern region.
For its part, at night temperatures will be between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius, lower in localities in the interior of the West, higher in coastal areas.

In the early hours of last Monday, a earthquake of magnitude 6.1 on the Richter scale shook the southeastern region of Cuba, according to the report from the National Center for Seismological Research (CENAIS).
The earthquake occurred at 1:00 am and had its epicenter 35 kilometers southwest of Chivirico, in the province of Santiago de Cuba, with a depth of 9 kilometers. It was perceived not only in the five eastern provinces, but also in Camagüey and Ciego de Ávila, according to local reports.
