What the hackers who attacked government sites said

The recent cyber attack on several official sites of the government has generated great concern and debate about computer security in the country. The hackers responsible for the attack, known under the pseudonyms “h4xx0r1337” and “gov.eth”, stated that they did it “for fun” and revealed that the hacked sites did not have a second factor of authentication (2FA), a security measure essential.

The attack occurred during the night of December 25, affecting several official portals of the Governmentincluding Mi Argentina and the SUBE card application. The hackers managed to modify the sites’ headers and footers, leaving mocking messages in English such as “Really? Hacked again?” and “fuck Milei”, along with a video by rapper Homer el Mero Mero.
