The Ministry of Energy has announced that next Thursday, January 2, 2025, the results of the second call for the Electricity Subsidy will be announced, a temporary benefit that seeks to alleviate energy costs for the most vulnerable households in Chile.

Beneficiaries will receive monthly discounts on their accounts lightwith amounts that vary depending on the size of the household: $71,652 for families of four or more members, $51,759 for those with two to three people, and $39,807 for single-person households.
To check if they were selected, applicants must enter the official website of the subsidywww.subsidioeléctrico.cl, using your Unique Key. Additionally, the information will be available through the ChileAtiende offices and its telephone service.
This benefit, part of the policies of support promoted by the government, represents significant economic relief in a context of growing concern about energy costs. The measure has been widely appreciated, although some critics have pointed out the delay in the publication of the results, initially scheduled for December.
