Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Institute of Meteorologyto (Indomet) reported this Friday that the weather conditions will have scattered rains in some provinces and cool temperatures.
Meteorology explained that this pattern It is due to the influence of the northeast wind and a surface trough located in the northeast of the country. However, skies with little cloudiness predominate in most provinces.
For this afternoon and early evening, the interaction of the trough and the cool and humid northeast wind will continue to generate occasional cloud fields that will cause light rains.
Precipitation will be more frequent in provinces such as La Altagracia, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Samaná, María Trinidad Sánchez, DuarteEspaillat, Puerto Plata, Montecristi, among others in the Central Mountain Range.

As for temperatures, they will remain pleasant due to the time of year and the fresh northeast wind, especially during the nights and early mornings, with greater freshness in the mountainous areas.
For Saturday, from the early hours of the morning, weak to moderate rains are expected to continue in several provinces on the Atlantic coast and the Cibao Valley. These precipitations will progressively intensify after noon towards the Central Mountain Range, the southwest and various provinces of the southeast region, including Greater Santo Domingo and the National District.
These rains will be accompanied by isolated thunderstorms and gusts of wind, due to the indirect incidence of a trough associated with a weakened frontal system over the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the humid northeast wind.
