“On behalf of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, the President of the State Duma, Viacheslav Volodin, will represent Russia at the inauguration of the Venezuelan president-elect, Nicolás Maduro, on January 10, 2025 in Caracas,” the Ministry said. of Foreign Affairs, cited by Tass.
In recent days, the governments of Mexico and Belarus also confirmed that they will send their respective representations to attend the event.
President Maduro will be sworn in at the National Assembly after being the winner of the elections held on July 28.
