According to Blu Radio, this Thursday, December 26, among those captured by the Colombian Army was alias ‘Arley’, leader of the FARC dissidents. One of the irregulars died during the operation.
The Colombian Army reported that a dissident from the Second Marquetalia of the FARC died during the operation and six others were captured in the municipality of Acevedo, department of Huila.

“In Acevedo, Huila, an operation against the Teófilo Forero of the Second Marquetalia carried out by the Magdalena Ninth Brigade Battalion, the Neiva Police and the Air Force, left one dead and 6 captured, including ‘Arley’, the ringleader, and they also left war material seized” said the Fifth Division of the Colombian Army.

The governor of Huila, Rodrigo Villalba, referred to the Army’s operation against FARC dissidents. In his account on the social network X, he recognized the troops of the Ninth Brigade.
“Recognition for the results of the new operation carried out in the early hours of today by troops of the Army’s Ninth Brigade in the rural area of Acevedo, against members of the Second Marquetalia. The National Police and the Air Combat Command No. 4 also participated in this operation,” said the governor.
