From December 25 to December 30, the Cali Fair will take place in the capital of Valle del Cauca, which this year expects receive at least 112,000 tourists, exceeding the 95,000 that arrived in 2023, according to the Tourism Observatory.
For its part, Situr (Tourist Information System) of Valle del Cauca points out that the hotel sector will generate more than 3 million dollars in income from accommodation. The Total economic income from tourism related to the Cali Fair would be approximately 12 million dollars.
According to the observatory’s projections, 25% would be international tourists, 43% national and 32% internal to Valle del Cauca. This notable growth in the influx of tourists strengthens Cali’s position as a leading tourist destination nationally and internationally.

In this regard, Mabel Lara, Secretary of Tourism of Cali, stated that: “We are ready to welcome you with open arms in this city that walks dancing, the one that nourishes the world with dancers. We are expecting thousands of tourists who will impact our local economy and leave with the experience of a metropolis that claims its international positioning.”.
Situr Valle del Cauca estimates that the Cali Fair will have an excellent performance in hotel occupancy. For this year, Occupancy is projected to be close to 80%, reaching its peak between December 28 and 29, when occupancy is expected to reach up to 90%.
