According to what he told the media, he knows Torres Saravia, but denied having any relationship of trust with the accused. “I met him 10 years ago, I did not know that these things were going to happen and not because of the actions of one person can it be classified that the culprit is César Acuña, that the culprit is APP, everything that happens in this country turns out that is related to César Acuña, I have nothing to do with anything, absolutely nothing in the behavior of third parties,” said the APP leader.

In addition, he called on Congress to clean up his image and clarify the case of pimping.

“I ask from here La Libertad, to the minister, the ballistic study of this attack. We cannot allow the image of the Congress of the Republic to be tarnished. Second, that the prosecutor’s office and the Judiciary investigate every last detail. The corrupt and criminals who go to jail, I will never endorse that. If the prosecutor’s office and the Judiciary discover that he is from APP, let him go to jail, well, right now who has to worry and find a way to clean up his image. it is the congress because the image of the Congress is being discredited,” said César Acuña.

PIMPING CASE IN CONGRESS

Andrea Vidal Gómez, a former employee of the Congress of the Republic, died this Tuesday after spending seven days in the intensive care unit of the 2 de Mayo hospital. The 34-year-old girl was attacked by gunmen while she was traveling in a taxi.

The case has gained media relevance due to accusations that Jorge Torres Saravia, her former boss, would be linked to a prostitution ring operating within Parliament, according to complaints broadcast by Willax TV. These statements, collected by the authorities, have generated outrage in the political sphere.

Faced with the accusations, Torres Saravia denied any involvement, arguing that he had no direct control over the hiring of the personnel involved. “I don’t hire them directly; That is done by the human resources department. I know some of them, but I have seen the others recently,” he declared in his defense.
