This Thursday the 26th, the Congressional Oversight Commission has called Jorge Torres Saraviaformer head of the Legal and Constitutional Office, to respond in an extraordinary session for the accusations that accuse him of being the leader of a prostitution network in Parliament that ended with the murder of the former worker Andrea Vidal.
Along with him, four other officials of the institution were summoned: the senior officer of Congress, Giovanni Forno; the Legislative Attorney Manuel Peña; Jesús Llanos, who today heads the Legal Office; and the head of Human Resources Haidy Figueroa.
As they are workers of the highest level who were even involved, they must answer a list of questions to identify whether they were involved in the alleged irregular hiring of the young women involved in the pimping case.
In this way, if the working group led by the congressman Juan Burgos considers, they could recommend the presentation of constitutional complaints against those involved.
Sources of Peru21 They confirmed that the commission already has in its possession the required documentation regarding the hiring processes of Vidal and the other young women identified as members of the alleged network, who respond to the names of Alexandra Gil and Isabel Cajo.
The reports were delivered by the Department of Human Resources, an office led by Haidy Figueroa, one of those summoned to testify before the commission.
As detailed a week ago, an ad hoc commission has also been formed to gather information on the case and to carry out the disciplinary process against Torres Saravia. This group will also begin work this Thursday the 26th and will be led by Patricia Durand, a specialist in the Parliamentary Committees Department.
