Santo Domingo.- The National Police valued the responsible attitude of the population for its “exemplary behavior” during the Christmas Eve festivities.
This is what the uniformed spokesperson expressed it, Colonel Diego Pesqueirawho highlighted that, thanks to the responsible attitude of the population, no serious incidents related to crime have been reported so far.
“We want to send congratulations to all the Dominican people and highlight the civic, polite behavior of the entire population that has made it possible for regrettable events not to be recorded so far,” Pesqueira expressed during a tour in Santo Domingo Este.
He clarified that all the details of the news, emergencies and assistance during the festivities will be offered by the Operations and Emergencies Center (COE).
He reported that prior to Christmas Eve, operations were reinforced with personnel from the Armed Forces, while Police officers continue to carry out patrols on the main avenues, streets and popular sectors to prevent criminal acts.
