As part of the special Christmas program, the TV Brasil brings to the public this Wednesday (25), at 11am, the musical “Pedro and Paula”. The show, especially aimed at children, was recorded at the iconic Teatro Amazonas, in Manaus (AM). The exhibition is the result of a partnership with TV Encontro das Águas, a member of National Public Communication Network (RNCP).
“Pedro and Paula” is directed by Tércio Silva, with musical direction and conducting by Marcelo de Jesus, and composition by Tim Rescala. The story follows two children who meet on Christmas Eve and embark on an adventure full of imagination.
The work stands out for the participation of local talents, including members of the Amazonas Folkloric Ballet, children’s choir from the Liceu de Artes e Ofício Claudio Santoro, musicians from the Amazonas Filarmônica and artists selected in specific auditions.
The scenery and costumes are designed by Giorgia Massetani and contribute to the magic of the performance, providing an impactful look on stage.
The production is a celebration of the power of friendship and the Christmas spirit, with messages such as unity, joy, peace and solidarity.
