“We have many foreign tourists, we have tourists who come by road from the different cities on the coast such as Cartagena and Saint Marthawhere there are many tourists who come from those cities who come to enjoy the beach, the history, but they want to know what is happening in Barranquilla, we are sure that the changes that the city has had with the Malecón del Río, the Ciénega de Mallorquín , with the little train of Las Flores and with all the projects that exist on issues of tourism; Barranquilla will continue to be one of the main cities of the country,” he said.
According to Muvdi, in 2024 in general the occupancy has been the same as last year, explaining that the national tourism ha decreased at approximately three points; while the international has gone up.

For him, the capital of the Atlantic is in the center of two important cities in terms of tourism, but it also offers beach, nautical sportss and an important tour in matters gastronomic.
