Will there be parking meters on December 24?
Yes, the parking meters operate normally at the times established by Ecoparq and Servimet.
The capital government explains that Ecoparq is a system regulated by the Ministry of Mobility, which aims to improve urban mobility and recover public space, by organizing parking on public roads through the installation of parking meters.
What days do parking meters not charge?
Parking meters do not operate on Sundays in any area of CDMX, nor on official holidays, which in this case corresponds to the Wednesday, December 25.
The cost to park a car in areas with parking meters is 3.10 pesos for every 15 minutes, according to the Tax Code 2024 of CDMX. The fine is the equivalent of 5, 7 or 10 UMAS, so the fine can be up to 1,085.7 pesos.
