On September 11, the former president Alberto Fujimori died, causing a great stir at the political level in the country. On the eve of Christmas, his son Kenji Fujimori revealed what the former president’s last moments were like.
In a conversation with psychotherapist Lizbeth Cueva, on her YouTube channel NorTampodcast, Kenji told what he felt about his father’s departure.
“My dad was lying in his bed and I was lying on his chest and I felt his last breaths, his last heartbeats. Until there were no vital signs and when the machine stops ringing, it’s like my legs had been amputated and this is something that I have not told anyone, but I remember it clearly,” revealed the former parliamentarian.
Likewise, he assured that he has not gone to the house where the former president spent the last moments of his life, because he does not know how he will react when he remembers those moments again.
“When my sister tells me come home, I really feel that slowdown, that denial, because I really don’t know how I’m going to react when I’m in my dad’s room,” he said.
