“Her boyfriend told me ‘Andrea has disappeared,'” was what Gil mentioned when asked how they realized what had happened to Andrea Vidal.
And, according to some chats presented by Gil herself in Willax, Andrea’s lack of response worried her boyfriend who minutes before 8:00 pm had put her on a taxi by app.
Andrea’s lover observed with concern that since 8:00 pm the location of the former Congress worker had not changed. They found out on television that there was a shooting in the same place where Vidal’s location was seen, according to his phone.
Alexandra Gil assured that despite knowing all the details of the attack that Andrea suffered, the Police have not yet called her to testify in the case.
Regarding the prostitution network that has been talked about in the Legislature and how involved Gil was in the issue, the former worker assured that “I don’t even know congressmen and officials.” She also commented that the situation they are going through has brought her closer to Isabel Cajo, another of the young women identified as part of that network of sexual favors.
“(They are) saying that we have come to our jobs for sexual favors, which there is no proof of that, we have studies and we have gotten there because we are prepared for our jobs,” said Gil.
PIMPING CASE IN CONGRESS
Andrea Vidal Gómez, a former employee of the Congress of the Republic, died this Tuesday after spending seven days in the intensive care unit of the 2 de Mayo hospital. The 34-year-old girl was attacked by gunmen while she was traveling in a taxi.
The case has gained media relevance due to accusations that Jorge Torres Saravia, her former boss, would be linked to a prostitution ring operating within Parliament, according to complaints broadcast by Willax TV. These statements, collected by the authorities, have generated outrage in the political sphere.
Faced with the accusations, Torres Saravia denied any involvement, arguing that he had no direct control over the hiring of the personnel involved. “I don’t hire them directly; That is done by the human resources department. I know some of them, but I have seen the others recently,” he declared in his defense.
