Turkey exports grew 38.2%

It is a rich source of protein and B complex vitamins, such as niacin, B6, B12 and choline. Provides essential minerals such as phosphorus, magnesium, selenium, iron, potassium and zinc.

“Thanks to its properties, it is ideal for people seeking to control their weight, prevent cardiovascular diseases, combat anemia and maintain a healthy nervous system. Some companies seek to increase their consumption beyond the Christmas and New Year festivities,” he explained.

INTERNAL CONSUMPTION

It should be noted that the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation has reported that the consumption of turkey meat in 2024 will reach 1.19 kilos per inhabitant, which means a growth of 1.3% when compared to a year before.

In addition, he specified that the offer of these products will reach 1.64 million units for the Christmas and New Year holidays. Of this total, 98% come from national production and only 2% from imports.
