The sectoral vice president of Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, Vladimir Padrino López, announced that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces will accompany the inauguration of President Nicolás Maduro before the National Assembly on January 10, for the 2025-2031 presidential period.
Through Instagram, the senior military official assured that “we, the soldiers who have witnessed the beautiful day of July 28, are aware of the great responsibility that it means to take care of the decree of popular sovereignty.”
Padrino López reaffirmed that “the voice of the people re-elected Nicolás Maduro as President of the Republic on July 28 and he will be sworn in before the National Assembly on January 10, 2025.”
Article 231 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela establishes that the candidate who wins the presidential elections must be sworn in before the AN on January 10 for his constitutional period.
In recent days, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez had announced that the Executive is processing all the details so that “the Venezuelan population is served as decided on the 28th, accompanying the worker president for his inauguration.”
Likewise, the vice president of the Psuv, Diosdado Cabello, reported that the mobilization of the red awning will be felt on 10-E throughout the country.
