Lacalle announced where his last day as president will be

The remodeling of the Risso polyclinic (Soriano) was inaugurated this Monday the 23rd, and the President of the Republic, Luis Lacalle, was there.

The president, addressing the public, noted that his last day in government, February 28, “in 67 days I will be in Soriano.” That day the Grito de Asencio (1811) is commemorated, and Lacalle usually participates in patriotic events.

He mentioned that Soriano has been the department that he has visited the most times in his capacity as president.

“The vocation of service is to do 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The twelve months of the year, the five years of government. One has an obligation as a public official. Sometimes it is kind of diffuse. How many hours does the president have to do at work? If I don’t have to mark a card”, he responded.
