Through a statement, the Wasi Mikuna program, which replaced Qali Warma, made it clear that during 2024 it will not purchase canned goods from the Don Nilo brand from the company Tierra Inca Food, following the complaint from Cuarto Poder.
“And that this firm will not sell products to the Wasi Mikuna National Community School Feeding Program, since there is no commercial relationship with it.”, indicated the state program.
Likewise, they indicated that the macroregional acquisition criterion for the 2025 Purchasing Process was eliminated.
In the statement they explain that the contracts signed with Frigoinca this year were resolved and the company is disqualified from being a provider of the program.
“Regarding the people mentioned in the report, mention that Víctor Salazar Cóndor was removed from his position as head of the Supervision, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit in December 2022, and through the Midis Public Prosecutor’s Office he was criminally reported to the Public Ministry this year for alleged irregular acts”, they add.
They also specify that the aforementioned company manufactured and marketed products for the extinct Qali Warma, through suppliers since 2020.
“With the purpose of strengthening supervision and monitoring actions, we are allocating a larger budget of S/ 72 million for 2025 and the prompt implementation of the special team for monitoring and follow-up is being designed.“, they expressed.
