AN approves requesting application of the Simón Bolívar Law to former parliamentarians

The National Assembly approved this Monday to request the Attorney General of the Republic to apply the Liberator Simón Bolívar Law against the Imperialist Blockade to the former deputies of the defunct parliament of 2015.

The decision was approved by the AN Delegate Commission, led by the president of Parliament, deputy Jorge Rodríguez, who presented a letter sent by opposition leaders to the United States charge d’affaires in Colombia and head of the United States mission for Venezuela, Francisco Palmieri, requesting resources for his “functions.”

He explained that through this letter, far-right militants are requesting more resources before the change of Government in the United States.

“What these shameless people are doing is looking for a way for their owner, Palmieri, to approve the money that does not belong to them, but rather belongs to the people of Venezuela,” he stressed.

Rodríguez pointed out that these parliamentarians receive $5,000 a month from a fund called “Guardians of Democracy,” with the resources and assets that have been kidnapped and stolen from Venezuela abroad, including CITGO dividends that belong to the Venezuelan men and women.

“This letter is the reliable demonstration that must be immediately applied to Mrs. Dinora Figuera, Marianela Fernández and Auristela Vásquez, what is established in matters of political disqualification and criminal offenses typified in the Simón Bolívar and Domain Forfeiture Law” said Rodríguez, highlighting that it is a crime and a flagrant violation.

Citizens Dinorah Figuera, Marianela Fernández and Auristela Vásquez call themselves president, first vice president and second vice president, respectively, of the non-existent AN.

In this regard, he described as stupidity the fact that they call themselves members of a non-existent national assembly, as well as that they have participated in a secret meeting, of which “there is no record of the election, meeting, voting, nor of the real existence of “These life deputies who ascribe to themselves a position that does not belong to them.”

In this sense, he stressed that the penalties provided for in the aforementioned law must be applied to them, such as political disqualification, forfeiture of ownership and criminal actions.
