A White Helmets mission headed by a delegation of Argentine state civil volunteers, accompanied by consular officials, will depart for the border between Poland and Ukraine to provide the necessary humanitarian assistance to guarantee the departure of Argentines, as well as nationals of other countries. that make up the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) that seek to leave Ukrainian territory.
The deployment of the mission was ordered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Nation, Santiago Cafiero, within the framework of an articulated work between the foreign ministries of several Latin American countries, to define the safe and orderly exit mechanisms for Latin Americans who try to leave for Polandreported this Monday afternoon the Foreign Ministry.
In that sense, Cafiero met this Monday with the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Peter Maurerat the headquarters of this organization in Geneva, where both discussed the work articulated with White Helmets regarding the help of those who wish to leave Ukraine.
The president of the White Helmets, Sabina Frederic, activated the formation of a Mobile Consulate made up of consular personnel, and specialized volunteers to assist Latin Americans arriving from Ukraine at the Polish border.
