Maduro received the new ambassador of Spain in Venezuela in Miraflores

In the Sol del Perú room, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, received the credentials of the new extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Álvaro Albacete, who assumes the responsibility of representing his nation in Venezuela.

This Monday, the Venezuelan head of state began his agenda with the receipt of this official document that accredits Albacete as the new representative of the Kingdom of Spain to Venezuela.

With this meeting, relations of mutual respect and peace diplomacy are strengthened, in accordance with the principles established in the United Nations Charter, which establishes that international relations must exist from the sovereign equality of States.

Álvaro Albacete has been a career diplomat since 2010, he has accumulated rich experience in various fields. He has held significant roles as cabinet director of the Minister of Culture and deputy secretary general of the Union for the Mediterranean in areas such as water, the environment and the blue economy.

His career in diplomacy is complemented by his commitment to higher education and research.

It is important to note that the reception of the credentials is oriented towards the reaffirmation of President Nicolás Maduro’s commitment to Bolivarian peace diplomacy, with the firm willingness of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to contribute to the construction of a multicentric and pluripolar world. as well as the firm purpose of moving towards a new world, which promotes equity, justice and self-determination of peoples.

In this diplomatic act, the Venezuelan head of state is accompanied by the first combatant, Cilia Flores; the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Relations of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil; in addition to the minister counselor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain, Mr. Ricardo Santos Alfonso, and the deputy consul of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain, José del Palacio Tamarit.
