How do I know if my payment from Colombia Mayor has arrived?
– Text Message Consultation:
SuperGiros, the payment operator, sends text messages to beneficiaries to confirm the availability of the subsidy. If you are registered, you will receive a message informing you about the payment.
– Verification at the Mayor’s Office:
You can go to the Elderly Care Office at your local mayor’s office. There you can ask directly about your status as a beneficiary and whether the subsidy is available for collection.
– Payment Points:
You can check at the assigned payment points through the SuperGiros website or ask at the mayor’s office. It is important that you bring your citizenship card to facilitate verification.

What are the requirements to be part of Colombia Mayor?
To enroll in the program, applicants must meet certain requirements:
-Be Colombian and have resided in the country for at least the last ten years.
-Be at least three years younger than the minimum retirement age (54 years for women and 59 years for men).
-Lack sufficient income to survive, according to the SISBÉN IV classification system, where groups A, B and C are considered up to subgroup C1.
Those interested must approach the mayor’s office of their municipality with their citizenship card. The process includes:
-Verification of requirements by municipal staff.
-Registration in the corresponding system, where information will be crossed with external databases to confirm eligibility
