The general manager of the Bank of the Republic, Leonardo Villar, and the director of the National Administrative Department of Statistics (Dane), Piedad Urdinola, formalized this Monday, December 23, an inter-administrative cooperation agreement for the exchange of information between the two entities.

“This exchange will support compliance with the required conditions of joint work for the preparation of macroeconomic statistics in Colombia,” both entities stood out.

In addition, The signing of this agreement will make it possible to take advantage of the information available from Dane and the Banco de la República and comply with international standards and best practices in the exchange of information and data between central banks and national statistical agencies.which has proven to facilitate the production of more specialized data that favors the formulation and adoption of public policies at the national level.
The agreement will have a duration of ten years.
