Price of the dollar in Colombia rose more than 20 pesos on the eve of Christmas

The price of the dollar in Colombia rose this Monday and its maximum price exceeded $4,400 on the eve of the Christmas celebration.

According to the Stock Exchange, The US currency gained 21 pesos on the day, trading at an average price of $4,395. The current TRM was $4,374.

For its part, the maximum price broke the $4,400 barrier, reaching $4,422.

The Issuer’s board of directors, which was attended by the new Minister of Finance, voted in its majority for a reduction of 25 basis points.

This week it will be shorter and will close earlier on Tuesday, Christmas Eve, at, and on Wednesday, Christmas Day, it will remain closed all day.
