Members of the Bolivarian National Guard seized 8,250 kilos of marijuana in the state of Táchira from Colombia.
The seizure occurred while they were carrying out the control and verification tasks of parcels from the company WED Envoys at the passenger terminal of San Antonio, Bolívar municipality of the entity.
The officials reported that the illicit substances, which were hidden in three painting picture frames and in three handcrafted clocks, were destined for Caracas.
The procedure was placed at the order of the Public Ministry.
Zulia
While in Cabimas, officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) captured three micro-traffickers of psychotropic substances and narcotics.
The procedure was carried out on Unión Street, Ambrosio sector and parish, Cabimas municipality in the state of Zulia, where three subjects identified as Eduberth Moisés Heras Miquilena (47), Yarilin Clare Salar Bracho (47) and Aurelio Antonio Barboza Villasmil (62) were arrested. .
According to the investigations, it was learned that the three subjects were dedicated to the sale of this substance 24 hours a day. The community remained in anxiety.
During the procedure, American currency, in paper money, was seized as evidence; several packages of alleged narcotic and psychotropic substances; a digital scale; two mobile teams; a Chevrolet Silverado, year 2005, plates A59CK7V and a Bera SBR-150, plates AW7B66G.
Heras, Salar and Barboza were placed at the disposal of the 15th Cabimas Extension Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry.
