Through the Area of Illicit Enrichment and Constitutional Complaints, the Attorney General’s Office today presented a constitutional complaint before the Congress of the Republic against the legislator. Darwin Espinoza.
According to the Public Ministry, the complaint responds to the alleged commission of the crimes of concussion, embezzlement by use and embezzlement of use to the detriment of the State by Espinoza, who entered Parliament with the Popular Action shirt but currently belongs to the ranks of Podemos Peru.
According to the statement issued by the National Prosecutor’s OfficeEspinoza would have abused his position by forcing workers in his office to make financial contributions for the purchase of gifts and signature collection activities in different provinces of Áncash.

But that’s not all. Darwin Espinoza is also accused of having used seven workers of the Congress of the Republic for purposes other than parliamentary service.
In this case, it is about the complaint made months ago against the parliamentarian for having arranged for said servers to collect signatures for the registration of his Adelante Áncash regional movement.
“In the same way, he has used for purposes outside the service instruments that were assigned to him in regular activities such as a multifunctional equipment for printing and the online consultation system of the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Reniec) in activities outside the service,” adds the institution.
With this complaint, it is worth remembering, there are now 22 constitutional complaints that the National Prosecutor’s Office has brought to the attention of the Congress of the Republic and which are still pending a response to date.
In this context, the Prosecutor’s Office urged Parliament to process these complaints within the deadlines established by the regulations of that State power.
