Santo Domingo.- The General Directorate of Migration (DGM) urged people who require minor permits To travel abroad, they must carry out their procedures directly with the institution and if they use third parties, validate them well, since in some cases applications have been received that are the subject of fraud and deception.
The body responsible for regulating migratory flows in the national territory explained in a statement that it only charges a tax of RD$2,000 to grant the permit and that approvals are made within 48 business hours, after the citizen uploads the required documents on the page. website and deposits them in the different positions of the Migration Certifications department, which are located in the National District, Santiago, Puerto Plata and Punta Cana. This payment is made through the Reserve Bank.
The entity also stated that those interested do not have to go to the institution to withdraw the permits because they reach them directly through the portal created for such purposes and through the email address selected by the user.
